My Water Smells Funny
Scent of chlorine, or any other scent, usually means that its time to change the filter.
Refer to the filter replacement directions further down on this page.
My Water Pressure Is Lower Than Expected
If you just installed the system:
Slight pressure reduction is expected. For the bathtub connection, the pressure reduction is more significant due to higher initial flow rate.
If pressure reduction is after continued product use:
Check the sediment filter, if filter is dirty (dark, brown color), purchase and replace the sediment filter. If main filter has not been changed for more than 90 days, replace the complete filter.
My Water Feels Hard
If the water turns hard after continued product use, it is likely that a softener recharge is needed. Refer to softener recharging instructions in the maintenance section of this page.
If the water is hard right after installation, contract us.
The Salt Reservoir is Overflowing
Disconnect the system, dump all the water from the salt tank, reinstall the system. Make sure the mode selector knob is in Flow position. Slowly turn the water on, if the tank is still overflowing, reach out to us.
Product is Leaking
If there are leaks at the hose connections, disconnect, reapply plumber's tape and retighten the connection.
If product is leaking anywhere else besides the hose connections, contract customer service.
I See Air Bubbles or Discoloration
Discoloration is normal after the initial first minute of filter use.
If discoloration continues, contract us for support.
